This was my beginning(a) alanon shock. I have been to aa and n/a meetings before neertheless never an alanon meeting. She was a very nice and she make me retrieve more relaxed. So I was packy to listen when the meeting started. As the meeting started there was a moment of concealment followed by the field pansy prayer. then the women running the meeting read the alanon anonymity statement. Then everyone introduced themselves and I did too, but I told them that I was there to listen.

Then moderately of the women started sharing their feelings some(a)what how their spot ones actions have impacted their life. I felt a miniscule more comfortable. When the meeting was over they closed it with the serenity prayer. I did not top right away because I was still talking to some of the women. Mt thoughts on what the women got out of the meeting is a wizard a hope. That they are not alone dealing with love ones that have an addiction.
